Mission Editor
The Mission Editor is the place you go to create mission plans. If you want a quick review of what a mission take a look at What are Missions?
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Mission Name | Mission plans can be stored and need a name. This shows the name that was given to the mission. |
| Go to Agent Control | This is a quick navigation back to the Agent Control View |
| Quick Launch | This button enables you to quickly launch an agent that will run the mission that is currently loaded in the mission view. |
| Mission Opening and Saving | This is the standard interface for Opening, Saving, Saving As, and Creating New missions. |
| Missions Management | The Manage button allows the user to manage mission plans and folder structures for mission plans. You can take a look at Manage Folders |
| Show Task Block Selector | When you click on this button a dialog will show the task block selector. |
| Mission Editing Workspace | This is where you create your mission plan using task blocks and making connections between the task blocks. |
| Agent History | Click on this button to see the agent history and view mission logs |
Create a New Mission Plan
When you first go to the Mission Editor you will see just the Open, New, and Manage buttons. To Create a new mission plan just click the New button.
When a new mission plan is made it will start with a Start and Exit block. You are required to use the start block but you are not required to use the Exit block.
The Mission Editing workspace can be zoomed and moved with a mouse or if you are on mobile it can be operated using standard touch and pinch movements.

| Left Mouse Button Down and Move Mouse | Doing this will move the mission editing workspace in the direction that you move the mouse |
| Mouse Center Scroll Wheel | Rotating the mouse wheel forward zooms in while moving the wheel backward zooms out |
Add a Task Block
To add a task block got to the button labeled "Add Task Block". You will see a dialog appear that you can select a task block. To select the task block you want find it by searching, selecting a group, or just scrolling through them until you find what you want and just do a single click ( or tap on mobile) and the task block will be added to the mission workspace.

| Search for a Task Block | If you are not sure what task block to use you can do a search on the type of function that you need and it will list the results in the blocks window |

| Close this dialog | Click on the Close button to exit the Task Block Selector dialog |
| Blocks Group Selection | Task blocks are organized in groups. You can select groups in this section and see all the task blocks for the group |
Open an Existing Mission
If you have missions saved you can open them by pressing on the Open button. A dialog will appear that gives you a selection of saved missions and also structures of folders with missions.

| Mission and Folder View | Shows folder structure and missions that have been saved in the past. Just click on the mission to load it into the Mission Workspace |
Mission Save and Save-As
After you complete your mission plan you will want to save it. If you don't save it, it will be thrown out. To save your mission plan press on the Save button. You will see a dialog appear and at the top there is an entry that you can enter the name you want for your mission.
You can also save a currently opened mission with a different name while also keeping the original mission. You can do this using the Save As button.
